Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 Collection presented at Chanel’s Métier d’Arts show in Paris was entirely different from last year’s show. For this year, Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld took inspiration from and the lost culture of By zantium. Influence of the -inspired was also clear.
Chanel’s Pre-Fall season presented its, launched in 2002, that showcases luxury ready-to-wear pieces embellished with couture details.

He presented the new collection at the brand’s iconic. It was a luxurious Byzantine-inflected Pre-Fall 2011 collection, full of beading, , and plenty of gilded pleasures; that included something for everyone, women’s wear with royal look, modern day clothes, evening wear, and lots more.
2011show flaunted pieces that today’s fashion empresses wanna wear like a blue/green silk shift encrusted with a wide band of glittery goodness across the empire area, a stunning stripe sweater dress with chocolate brown “tubing” on the skirt, a swathe of fabric encrusted in stones and worn like a wrap with a slouchy-chic peacock blue pant and lots more.
Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 models including, , , , , catwalked sporting messy beehive updo with a filigree headband, friendly flats and mixed rock ‘n’ roll silhouettes with regal embellishment and detailing. Regal hues of greens, bronzes and golds, heavy embroidery and Byzantine elements were prominent on runway.
Clothes were adorned with gold chains, braiding, jeweled buttons, feathers, and fringe. One stunning red carpet worthy look was moderately embroidered plum silk number. A heavy jewel-tone satin adorned with even heavier swaths of mosaic embroidery and the finale dress, a floor length gold-embroidered robe was also head turning.
